These 3D experiences explore the Temple of San Bartolomé in Valle de Allende and the Old Hacienda de Peñuelas in Aguascalientes. These sites tell the story of this route that facilitated the exchange of people, goods, ideas, and religion. The virtual tours were developed by the INAH centers in Aguascalientes and Chihuahua. Prior to this, Mark was Deputy Executive Secretary from 2021 to 2023 in the office of the Secretary of State. Full Biography Tor R. Petersen Acting Consul General (Ciudad Juarez) Tor R. Petersen has been serving as the acting Consul General of the United States in Ciudad Juarez since February 2024. He arrived in Mexico in July 2021 as the Management Officer at the Consulate. Full Biography Amy Scanlon Consul General (Guadalajara) Amy Scanlon assumed duties as Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Guadalajara in August 2023. A career Senior Foreign Service Officer, she most recently served as the Deputy Minister Counselor for Political Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi. Full Biography Matthew P. Roth Consul General (Hermosillo) Matthew P. Roth arrived in Hermosillo, Sonora as Principal Officer and Consul General of the United States in August 2023. Immediately prior, he was the Deputy Director of Andean Affairs at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, DC, overseeing bilateral relations with the five countries of the Andes region. For the last three years, she has served as the deputy executive director in the office of the Secretary of State. Previously, she was the Director of the U.S. Embassy Branch Office in Banja Luka, leading U.S. forward engagement in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2020 to 2023. Rigaud Consul General (Monterrey) Roger Rigaud is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, rank of Counselor, and joined the Foreign Service in May 1998.
